So this week, Dance Marathon is hosting another table and we are selling tickets to an early VIP showing of the new Hunger Games movie. I'm so EXCITED.
But, better news. I went to the casino for the first time ever tonight. I know Tuesday night is a weird night to go but technically I was there for my Addictions class to observe people. If you're going to go to a casino I definitely recommend Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, North Carolina. It is AMAZING. So anyways, this was my first time in a casino and I was completely mesmerized from the minute I walked in. I can now see how gambling can become addictive. The minute I walked in I completely forgot about the outside world, my phone didn't have service so I had no communication with the outside world, and I had no sense of time. I went with a friend of mine and we were like little girls in a toy store. Everything, and I mean everything, was amazing to us.
Anyways, we played 5.00 on a slot machine between the each of us and it was suprisingly hard, then we talked with a few of the workers there, who by the way were AMAZING as well. They were so nice, and wanted to share their story and experiences and knowledge. I loved it. So, here is a few photos. (I got some crappy snapshots because I was so into looking around I forgot to take pictures.)
I promise the next time I go back I'll get better pictures.
